WHO IS DUSTIN?

My name is Dustin Mooney and I am 19 years old and a freshman at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I am also a young entrepreneur and President and CEO of Swish News Network and Executive Producer of RiotLine a political news show on SwishNews.com. I live in both Tampa and Orlando, Florida as I go back and fourth to school, both areas are great.

Throughout my life I have face numerous difficulties, most of which had to do with my medical problems. I was born without an esophagus and have undergone over three hundred surgeries since that time, most of which were minor. I feel these medical problems have helped prepare me for my future endeavors. I also hope to help people who are going through similar problems using the experiences I have faced. Right now I am a freshman at the University of Central Florida where I am majoring in Business Administration with a double minor in Political Science and Journalism. UCF is awesome and I am loving every minute of it. I am living in the dorms right now, and it is awesome! Go Knights!

Here is what I love… I love news and politics, technology, business, entrepreneurship, marketing, writing, sports, hanging with friends and family, movies and television, comedy, and a ton of other stuff. My company is based around news and politics and I am constantly watching the news, just something I enjoy. I also intend to run for a government office at some point in the future. Technology has been apart of my life forever and I love it. By the way, I am more of an Apple fan! I am big on business and entrepreneurship, I started Swish News this year at the age of 19. I love writing, I write for my blog (the thing you’re reading), but I also am working on a motivational book, and plan to write a book about the hard times I have faced, in hopes that it will help others. I also want to write a few political books, which I will be prepared to do since I am one of the main writers for Swish News. Sports rock, I love football, basketball, golf, and most other sports, but I really only play golf. I love anything that has comedy in it, and am a huge fan of The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Dane Cook. I love to watch movies as well, but don’t have a favorite, I love a ton of them.

And now you pretty much know it all, except my favorite color… but we’ll just leave that a mystery.
